Description

A brand new novel by the best selling and award winning authors Steven Savile and David Sakmyster.

THE LAZARUS INITIATIVE - A NOVEL

After a Near Death Experience (an 'NDE') radically transforms the life of
eccentric billionaire Nicholas Sheridan, he becomes obsessed with understanding the experience, recreating the conditions that opened the gate to the unknown.

After recruiting others with similar experiences, they discover amazing connections, common visions and dramatic abilities among people who have come back from the dead. But what they haven't bargained for is that the gate opens both ways. Something has escaped from death and is hunting them. Something hungry...

“With NDE, Sakmyster and Savile trek across a dark line into very strange country. Equal parts smart and chilling, this is a powerful and important novel.” –Jonathan Maberry, New York Times bestselling author of EXTINCTION MACHINE and FIRE & ASH

“A wild and gripping ride through the afterlife, virtual realities, real world horrors and everything in between, NDE reminded me of Neil Gaimain's American Gods wrung through The Matrix.” –Stel Pavlou, author of DECIPHER and GENE

ABOUT THE LAZARUS INITIATIVE:

We set out to write something fans of shows we enjoyed, things like Medium and Afterlife, and fused them with the raw energy of 24 and other thrillers, keeping the emphasis on the supernatural but very deliberately away from anything horrific. We released part one and part two as novellas a couple of years ago, then decided to wait until the series was complete to release it as a full novel instead of drip-feeding readers 80-100 pages at a time, so we're delighted to unleash THE LAZARUS INITIATIVE on the world. What this does mean is if you purchased the original novella, you can simply delete the file in your kindle and re-download this edition and you will receive the FULL NOVEL. That's our way of thanking everyone who supported us.
