Description

HE'S A PRIVATE EYE. SHE'S A PSYCHIC MEDIUM.

In Ghost College, the Drews are summoned to a Southern California bible college after workers report hearing mysterious voices at night.

When they encounter the unhappy ghost of a young girl, Monty's skepticism is shaken, but he resolves to help his wife free the trapped spirit.

Their search uncovers the Latin phrase non omnis moriar -- not all of me shall die -- and they learn more about the site's history as a Catholic school destroyed by an earthquake.

But a mysterious presence has plans of its own for the young ghost, and Monty and Ellen must go head-to-head with a dark entity that's had more than a century of practice in demonic deeds.

To do so, Monty must leave his body to do battle with the demon, and he's not sure Ellen will be able to bring him back in one piece. Heck, he's not even sure what's happening is real.

One thing sis certain: All hell is breaking loose and the Drews are taking a crash course in the supernatural where an "F" means eternal damnation.

What Readers are saying:

"Monty and Ellen rock! Monty and Ellen are a delightful married couple who work together on paranormal investigations. This book is so well written with humor and a true love story. The chemistry written between Ellen and Monty makes you want to be part of their team." -- Amazon review

"Ghost College is the first in what I hope is a long series! I enjoyed this lighthearted read tremendously and recommend it to anyone searching for a quick paranormal fix. Husband and wife team of skeptic and psychic provide counterpoint in dealing with an evil presence at the college. Monty and Ellen Drew are attracted opposites: she needs to help the spirits pass on while he, an ex-private investigator, is still waiting to 'see' his first ghost. Well, Monty gets more than he bargained for as he becomes the instrument in the spiritual struggle to rid the college of its entity. Anxiously awaiting book two in the series!" -- Amazon review

"Hilarious dialogue and interesting plot. As a new Kindle owner, I've been exploring free and low-cost books to purchase from the extensive Amazon library. In my explorations, I was fortunate enough to run upon someone who has become a new favorite author, J.R. Rain. And it didn't take long for Mr. Rain's writing style to hook me! Ghost College is the first co-authored book of Mr. Rain's I've read. The collaboration has magnified the hilarious dialog I have come to expect in a J.R. Rain novel and kept me turning pages with its fast-paced plot. The book was over much too soon. I wanted the story to continue far into the night." -- Amazon review

"This is my third Nicholson book, and I must say I enjoyed it as much as Speed Dating with the Dead. This book was a quick read and unoffensive. I love a good ghost story... but not at the expense of my values and personal beliefs. Be advised it is a short book also. Good job to the collaboration of Scott Nicholson and J.R. Rain!" -- Amazon review

"Fun ghost story! I loved Ghost College. It is the story of a married couple who try to solve paranormal mysteries. The husband is a skeptic, while the wife has the gift. This story deals with a college music room that's haunted by a young student and her music teacher. It's an interesting story and I would recommend it for all ghost story lovers." -- Amazon review

"What a great story! I didn't want the book to end. I'll for surde be watching out for the rest of the series!" -- Amazon review
