Dan Jones has Asperger's which gives him a unique perspective in his work with families, he has over 15 years experience with children and young people with emotional & behavioural problems, ADHD, ODD and Aspergers & with offering parenting and family support. He also helped to set up a Therapeutic Children's Home and has held a number of training courses for professionals in how to work with children and young people that exhibit challenging behaviour, including senior social workers, and family support workers. All techniques and skills in this book have been successfully applied in real situations by the author and by parents that Dan has worked with over the years with children and teenagers with Asperger's, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Obsessional Defiance Disorder (ODD), challenging behaviour and sleep difficulties.
