Description

On the rebound from a failed relationship Katrina falls for wealthy Greek widower, Stefanis. Though only half his age, she marries him.
A lavish lifestyle, sixty-foot yacht and a beautiful home in Miami are the envy of her friends and family, so when her relationship begins to crack, Katrina covers it up.
Childless and miserable, she needs to confide in someone but can't find the courage - until professional skipper, Brod, appears on the scene.
During a two-week Caribbean holiday aboard her yacht with her brother and two close friends, Katrina realises the flaws in her marriage are too big to ignore.
Brod is employed against her wishes by an absent Stefanis, who is away on business and wants ultimate control of her holiday through a third party. It's a decision he will regret, especially when the sailing holiday heats right up compromising Brod's professionalism.
By the end of the fortnight Katrina realises there is only one man she wants in her life and she intends to do something about it.
With suspicions aroused, Stefanis tries to find out what really went on, but skipper Brod has disappeared.
Deceit, misunderstandings and lies make a bad situation worse and a forced move to the Greek island of Zakynthos for Katrina causes despair. When she makes a horrific discovery and becomes heartbroken in grief, she has to brave it all alone.
Without money or a passport, there is only one way out and that's on her yacht.
But an insanely jealous Stefanis wants her back and nothing seems too high a price for him to pay to achieve it, as a harrowing chase on the open seas will prove.

Set in the early 1980s, this fast-paced thriller is like a rough sea hurling Katrina between the peaks and troughs of romance and tragedy. Through all the shocks and surprises, it's the whispering waters that prevail.
