A collection of stories from the pen of famed mystery writer Jacques Futrelle, as well as one by his wife. The stories were written between 1906 and 1911 and included are several featuring his genius detective character Professor Augustus S.F.X. Van Dusen---The Thinking Machine. Jacques Futrelle died tragically in 1912, one of the hundreds who perished in the sinking of the Titanic.
