Jeff Ritchie has a heart attack while waiting to play golf with his friends at a resort in Florida. He wakes up five minutes later sitting by the lake at the resort looking out over an island. Sitting by Jeff is a handsome dark haired man. Jeff's thoughts are fuzzy and something is wrong.

The man sitting with Jeff is actually the devil and over the next half hour the devil tries everything he can to try and tempt Jeff. Jeff has always believed that he is an inherently good man but if that is the case then what is he doing here and will he give in to the temptations offered to him.

While he talks to the devil Jeff can feel hands massaging his chest. Soon he will go back but the decisions he makes while on the island will affect not just his time right here but also the rest of his life and the place he goes to when that life is destined to end.
