In this imaginative children's story on dinosaurs, a six year old girl is taken to the Page Museum in Los Angeles by her parents. There she learns about life forms that lived long ago and the fossil remains of those long dead organisms such as dinosaurs.

Intrigued by these "Terrible Lizards", she asks her father to read to her a bedtime story about dinosaurs. After falling asleep our small heroine is transported to a world where these creatures roamed the earth sixty-five million years ago.

So follow along as we explore the La Brea Tar Pits and the land of the giant dinosaurs in the quest to find new playmates.
