Masterful writing I LOVE Hope Callaghan cozy mysteries! I got hooked from the Savannah series. There's such a down-home, relaxed, non-violent atmosphere to this book, and even with a tiny hint of romance, a slight bit of Christianity, but not too much, and some good old fashioned gum-shoe. Fast-paced, and entertaining "Hope Callaghan has become one of my favorite authors! This series is starting out to be just as great as the cruise ship cozy mysteries she writes. It's full of twists and turns and is still easy to follow. It has a Christian undertone without being overly religious. It's the perfect balance in my opinion. Very Fun! This was a fun book to read. I love the characters' personalities in the story, and was quickly drawn into this surprising, twisting mystery. I recommend this book for everyone as it is easy to read and leaves you in suspense. I also appreciate the bible verses which Gloria, the heroine, uses to get her through her tough times. Hope Callaghan is fast becoming my new favorite author FIVE stars for this book. - stringer
A lovely read This was a sweet surprise of a book. It was excellent in it's introduction to the characters, and made the main protagonist someone you cared about. The Christian aspect was beautifully done, and also made you feel happy to read every word. I hope to meet the grand kids soon, as I took care of my two grandsons often. -Donna Roberts
