Description
The first in a series of anthologies of crime stories written by attendees of Crime & Publishment, a yearly crime-writing workshops based in Gretna Green, Scotland, the home of British marriages.
Volume one features twenty-two stories based on the theme of 'marriage' and written by Tess Makovesky, John S Langley, May Rinaldi, Jackie Baldwin, Ann Bloxwich, L P Mennock, Les Morris, Graham Smith, Lucy Cameron, Janet Williamson, A S King, Morgen Bailey, C G Huntley, Gillean Arjat, Andrew Leslie, Carol McKay, Mike Craven, and John Coughlan.
We meet fools, dysfunctional families, spoilt brats, brides, and mobsters. There are trains, mud-holes, empty nests, battered vans, farmhouses and ornate rooms... and a variety of ways for the long-suffering to dispose of their spouses.
All proceeds from volume one go to 'Hearing Dogs for Deaf People' - see http://hearingdogs.org.uk for more details.
