In the quiet and isolated town of Ruston everyone lives in peace and happiness; everyone except Natalie Bottle that is. After a life of (sometimes) doing what she is told, Natalie finally has the chance to escape the mundane everyday life to explore the desert world that surrounds them. Wanting to see new sights, meet new people; Natalie gets involved with a story much bigger than her own, a story that started a thousand years before in her own town. She heard of the Legend of Hay, a story of an Evildoer in her town's past before, but she never thought she would hear that story in a different way.
