Description

Officer Greg Haller is a very caring individual who has always dreamed of becoming a police officer from a very early age. He wanted to be just like his retired father, who was also on the county police department until he was in a terrible automobile accident and had to go out on full disability due to his injuries. Greg always wanted to help crime victims and believed that by becoming an officer that he too could make a difference in the lives of others. He didn't join the county police department just because of the salary, no it was much more than that. He and others like him wanted to be where the action was on a "day-to-day" basis. They wanted to be part of whatever it was that was happening that day and hoping that their presence there would make a difference in the lives of the county residents and visitors. It is the longing to be part of that 350 year American Brotherhood of police professional officers. Greg Haller was different though in so many ways as he brought something to the table that no officer had ever brought to the job. He joined the department and rose in the ranks enough to become a detective, but when he was shot twice during an armed robbery. Everything in his life changed. Our story takes place in one of Maryland's counties that surrounds Washington DC. Known as the DC suburbs, this is a place where intrigue and mystery mixed with a high dosage of politics makes for a very interesting location for Officer Haller's story.
