Description
"Being a witch is more science than magic."
By the river, drums pulse as a mathametician dances naked by moonlight. In the kitchen, a fire-king squirts lighter fluid across his tongue. An attic door opens to reveal books and skulls covering an antique rug. Sobs come from the bedroom, as fresh green tendrils creep along bruised and blistered skin. From the backseat of the car, a woman laughs as angels descend from a sky filled with flame.
If you dare to enter the thicket of James Maxey's imagination, try not to get tangled in the thorns beyond... the Jagged Gate.
