Can she use her power of persuasion to catch a thief?

The Flirt:

Lady Willow Douglas holds the power of persuasion and can charm any man into doing her bidding with just a smile. When her skill doesn't work on Sir Conrad Lochwood, he becomes a thorn in her side. The autumn festival is about to start. Willow becomes distracted from her duties of being a member the Followers of the Secret Heart. It is group of strong women handpicked by the late queen, taught to make a difference in the world but sworn to do things in secret. Willow's attention goes to all the eligible noblemen arriving at the castle. Her hope is to find a suitable husband on her own. But to her dismay, her father, Rook (Legendary Bastards of the Crown) has hired Sir Conrad as her guardian until his return.

The Guardian:

Sir Conrad Lochwood arrives at the festival, hoping to convince the earl to accept his sister as his new ward. After the recent deaths of their parents, Conrad has had his hands full and needs someone to watch over his sister so he can fight for the king. Plans don't go as he hopes, but Lord Rook comes to his rescue. However, the man asks for something in return. Conrad has to agree to be Willow's guardian while Rook is away. Conrad remembers Willow from childhood since he always used to pull pranks on the haughty girl. However, Willow has turned into a beauty through the years, and before long he finds himself attracted to her. Keeping her away from the men is going to be a challenge since she holds the power of persuasion and is a flirt. Keeping her from killing him is going to be even harder.

When a visitor's prize ruby is stolen, Willow takes it as a personal goal to find the thief. Conrad has no choice but to help her since she is like a moth to a flame every time she is around a man.

Can a strong woman who is determined to catch a thief accomplish her task as well as find a husband before her old childhood nemesis steals her heart away?
