Jackson has observed and experienced for some 55 years of age at the time of this printing. Her visual art and writing are art therapy for Amy, as she is a survivor of child sexual abuse. She is on federal disability due to this and two chronic pain issues. Early college and post-college poetry are shorter, image-based, dark landscapes.
