Description

'Peck's Bad Boy and His Pa' is a juvenile fiction written by George W. Peck. The story unfolds with a young man going into a store, limping and looking discouraged. The store owner asks him what's wrong, and the young man explains that he played a joke on his father and has been limping ever since. He explains that he wrote a note in a fine hand and signed it "Daisy," asking his father to meet him on a street corner at 7:30pm. His father, dressed up, went to all four corners trying to find the person named Daisy. When he found out that he was being pranked, he became outraged at his son's actions.
