Description

They've hated each other for years.
But now they have to work together to save their pack.

Tamir Stayman is missing his older brother Pax, who left their pack. To add insult to injury, it was after Pax injured Tamir's arm with a silver sword. Tamir knows Pax didn't mean to hurt him. It's just that the Stayman Pack used to be immune to silver but now that immunity is gone, just as much as Pax himself is. As Tamir's injury refuses to heal no matter how much time passes, he's left trying to deal with not only the loss of his brother but also quite possibly his shifting abilities.

Kenzie Hunter is the Stayman pack medic. She lives an unhappy life, mostly ignored by her peers because of her low-ranking family and allegedly bad attitude. But the feisty werewolf isn't going to keep her mouth shut. When she sees a problem, she deals with it. Just like she is trying to heal Tamir's arm, no matter how ungrateful he seems.

The Staymans' apple orchard is not the safe place it once was. Besieged by the Mathis pack, rivals that want the land, it's only a matter of time before the compound falls. Tamir watches helplessly, unable to shift even though he's second-in-command.

The situation seems dire to Tamir but the pack's alpha, Anson, wants to throw a party. This bad idea was planted by Flint, a mysterious lone wolf who showed up a few weeks back and who somehow has the alpha's ear, as well as his loyalty. Anson wants Flint in the pack, but this plan leaves Tamir feeling anxious. Something isn't right, but he can't figure out what it is.

Tamir and Kenzie have always been enemies but they decide to form an uneasy alliance. They both know that something is wrong with Anson and that Tamir's brother is the only one who has answers. Together they have to find a way to contact Pax so that they can expose Flint.

It's a task that leads them to the Stayman silver mine and a new kind of magic they didn't know existed. As the Staymans' immunity weakens, everything they hold dear is at risk. Tamir has to step up and do things that he never imagined to try to save his pack.

But as Tamir changes, he also starts to see Kenzie in a new way. He doesn't mean just her curves or the fact that he can't resist wanting to hold them against his chest, which seems to be trying to tell him that Kenzie is his mate.

Can Tamir find himself and give in to love in time to save his pack with Kenzie's help? Or will his whole world come crashing down for good?

The Pack's Downfall is a wolf shifter paranormal romance. It is intended for ages 18 and up, due to its heat level and adult situations and language. This book follows the first book in the Silver Wolf Shifters series, The Pack's Secret, and is best read after that one. The series is best enjoyed all together.
