Description
Sometimes there were a few of us, sometimes there were a lot: ex-members who had moved away, people joined from their holiday cottages, or from their second homes in France... every third Thursday of the month Royston Writers' Circle met, just as they have done for more than 40 years. We kept going, telling our stories of hope, and anger, and frustration, and humour - a chance, once a month, to put the world on pause and write.
We all needed to get lost, to escape from what the world had become, lost in Netflix binges, lost in baking marathons, lost in music... we got lost in our words. We hope that you enjoy them.
