Jazzie was sixteen when the blue man army invaded.

She was seventeen when when the blue man ship landed on Golgotha.

The blue men aren't cute and entertaining like the Blue Man Group in Las Vegas, they just look like them, until one of them grins at you, saliva pooling on its sharp canines and malice in its black eyes. The Blue Man Group doesn't have barbed whips hanging from their hips either, nor do they walk with an arrogant swagger, or have talons for finger nails. There seemed to be no reason or logic to their abduction of almost two thousand teens, all from the same city.

For Jazzie and her friends, its a struggle to survive, until they land on the planet Golgotha. That is when Jazzie discovers that she is more than she seems. That was when she realized that maybe a mouse can become a warrior.

This short story heralds the first in a series of shorts about one girl's quest to save her friends. If you like the Hunger Games and hard hitting fantasy, then this short fantasy story is for you.
