Description

Dave Gurman was editor of The Rider's Digest from Jan `06 until July '09 (issues 101 to 140) a period in which the circulation increased from around 6,000 to 32,000 per month, making it the third most widely read motorcycle magazine in the UK. Anyone who enjoys his take on the world of motorcycling - in particular the humorous, inclusive and decidedly humane way that he puts it across - is guaranteed to relish this collection of his earliest contributions (they date back to issues 30 - 58, a time when TRD's primary audience was London's despatch riders).

Although they were written with couriers in mind, this compilation covers subjects as diverse as parenthood, further education, September 11th, despatch riding, depression, Ducatis and `Duracells'; and is guaranteed to provide an engaging, thought provoking and above all amusing read for anybody with even a passing interest in motorcycles - if not life itself.
