Not all homecomings are necessarily good ones. Throw in a plane crash, a duped husband, a lying wife and her personal secret, the history of a murdering family, and you'll dig up enough problems to last a lifetime. Suffice to say the marriage might not work out... but that's if the wife survives the plane crash. If she does, then what? This is a short story that may or may not end happily.

Sunny is returning from Afghanistan and will meet the "husband" she duped 13 months ago. Joey isn't interested in hearing what Sunny has to say. He wants their sham of a marriage over. But picking up Sunny doesn't go as planned when her plane crashes and he rushes to get to her. They both battle a few personal issues as events unfold.

HOMECOMING is a short story at approx 4800 words (20 pages). It has dark issues, death, and may or may not end happily. This is not a romance. There is no actual violence committed in this story, only dark family issues that reverberate beyond family walls.
