Description

It's Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, in the 1970s. A man is killed in a road accident and Alex McBride finds himself drawn unwillingly into the hunt for a crashed aircraft somewhere in northern Uganda. In a tangled web of deceit, he finds himself up against the East German secret service in a deadly triangle involving the STASI, the South Africans and Sarah Aaronsohn, a MOSSAD agent.

The hunt takes McBride from Kenya to Europe, then back to East Africa, as he tries to stay alive and to discover the truth about the crashed aircraft. All he knows is that there is a fortune in bullion and diamonds on board, but the East German agents are playing for keeps, and the Israelis are desperate to reach it first. It is a game of winner take all, with no second prize for the losers.
