Description
Putin has just come to power in Russia and the defunct Soviet Union is in turmoil. A criminal gang are at work in Siberia stealing priceless Buddhist art treasures. The Federal Security Bureau in Moscow has an undercover agent trailing them. English journalist Michael Harding has gone to Siberia to write about the plight of the dwindling Amur tiger population. In the wrong place at the wrong time, Michael is caught up in a maelstrom of violence. He has no idea why someone wants him dead and his instinct tells him that the last person he should trust is a mysterious young woman, with a penchant for knives and guns, who clearly despises him. The desolate beauty of Siberia and the mysterious Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan provide the backdrop to this fast-paced, intelligent thriller.
