A couple days before his death, Min Kyu gives the final story he had written to his English teacher. It is a story called "Witness for Jesus", about an 18 year old in the states that is graduating from community college and meets a woman that is dying from Cancer.

The woman takes him to Hawaii for the weekend, to see if he is worthy of using her money. He is a Christian, and after the woman dies and leaves him her money, he tells himself he is going to use it to be a witness to others for Jesus.

Sam, the boy in the main story, becomes friends with an orphan that turns out to his long lost cousin he didn't know he had. He helps rescue his mother from his dad that is abusive. All during these adventures, his faith in God doesn't waver. Even when the devil tries to inhabit some of his and his cousin's dreams, they don't lose faith.

After reading the story, Min Kyu's teacher realizes that it was written so that the boy could experience adventures that he would never in his short life. His English makes a vow after he finds the boy has died (of cancer), to publish the story so others will remember the name Min Kyu.
