Widespread persecution continues to impact Christian churches and many have closed their doors altogether as the faithful are forced to worship in secret. As the situation goes from bad to worse one committed pastor seizes the opportunity to show the love of Christ and actually opens the doors of his church to take in as many people as he can who have lost everything during the earthquake. "Church doors should be wide open across the city, not boarded up," he says. "This persecution is the best thing that has happened to the church in a long time. It's waking us up from our apathy and indifference. Church bells should be ringing, not silent, and Christians have got to get out from under their church pews because there is work to be done! 'Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.' I want to be persecuted, I say bring it on!"
On the other side of the country a task force surveillance team desperately tries to locate Dr. John Morrison and rescue him from his captors before his time runs out.
