Description
Charity begins at the hospital, not home, if you want to give Eddie a sponge bath.
Eddie isn't worried about the bullet that whizzed through his chest. Sure it hurts, but the doctor told him he'll be fine. Deciding where to recuperate has him almost paralyzed. His mother, Stinky's mother and Stinky are fighting for the right to play nurse and unlike Gaul, he doesn't want to be divided in three parts. Whatever he decides, he'll disappoint two of his nearest and dearest and Irish guilt and Eddie were pals long before he met Stinky.
To add to his torment he seems to have organized a citywide peace movement while he was under a lot of pain medication, one of the nurses is collecting serious coin (for charity) from nurses and aides who want to attend to his personal needs, and Stinky can't help offering unsolicited advice to the patient in the next bed. Hospitals are never relaxing and even less so when Stinky takes charge.
About Stinky Stories
Stinky and Eddie appear in almost eighty comic short stories in the #1 bestselling Amazon series. Stinky is chatty and insouciant, and while Eddie may not say as much, when something needs to be done, he's already doing it. They're as close as Brooklyn and Queens and as unlikely to separate.
Stinky doesn't go looking for trouble, but he can't hide from it. It's part of the "best looking man on the planet" package. His work and family connections tie him to all the city's civic leaders and the crazier their ideas, the more likely they are to ask Stinky for help. Eddie's life isn't entirely free from adversity. Whether he's recovering from a gunshot wound, getting pelted with raw Easter eggs when children mistake his Easter Bunny costume for the Bunny from the Black Lagoon or curating a museum exhibit of the guards' favorite artworks, he's never at ease when he's out of his element. Stinky and Eddie would like to live quietly, but lucky for us that never happens.
Stinky and Eddie are supported by a collection of outrageous guest stars and an ever expanding cast of relatives. The stories are witty and literate and readers don't have to leave their brains in a jar to enjoy them. Whether it's a flat-out farce, bedroom comedy, sexy romp, sly satire or screwball family intrigue, you're never far from a happy ending in every Stinky story. Isn't that what we really need these days?
