Description

Ten years ago, the gods returned to Earth and made it Paradise...

When Tess Showalter, Darrell Warren, and Sue Killeen end up as roommates, they quickly discover their meeting is no fluke. Tess, an investigative reporter, is haunted by an impossible choice given her by Morrigan, the Irish goddess of war. Darrell is angry that the Ojibwe culture hero Nanabush tore him away from becoming a medicine man in order to join the Navy SEALs. And Sue, who works for a nonprofit, is also the Right Hand of the Earth goddess Gaia.
These unlikely teammates are thrown into a war against a cabal of religious, political, and industry leaders who want to wrest control of the Earth back from the gods. The cabal is led by a shadowy figure who wants to be a god himself.
The battle rages from the halls of Congress, to a vital bridge-tunnel in Virginia, to a family farm in Kansas. Through it all, Tess, Sue, and Darrell must find a way past their personal demons to save the Earth for the sake of humanity.
