Steve wants to visit the Nexus, even though the netherworld is full of nothing but lava, flames, and powerful dark creatures. The Player learns how to make a portal to the Nexus from Priest Brock, a former zombie from a nearby village. Steve then forms an exploration team with Priest Brock, an oversized ocelot named Goldie, and a mysterious tamed creeper.

Will Steve and his friends reach the Nexus? What dark secrets and dangerous mobs are waiting for them inside the nether? Journey with the Player and his team as they explore the most dangerous realm in the Westland universe. This story is Book 1 in the Evolution Wars series.
