Description
John Thomas Menesini: "I don't write because of writing, nor do I make art because of art. I express myself because I believe I'm supposed to record and report the world around me, to make a mirror of the minutia of the human condition, on a poetic molecular level... A lot of [my poems try] to make sense (and poetry) of the self-realized human brain among the 'mad' modern world. To attempt to reflect the textures of fear and bliss, of uncertainty, and to celebrate death as a great equalizer of the human condition, as well as the most absolute and significant of life's lessons, all the while knowing that later you will have to come back down and wipe your ass, fold laundry and feed the cat."
