Description
It is the mid-14th century BC in Ancient Egypt, the boy-King Tutankhamen has died and his young Queen suspects foul play. Egypt has been through turbulent times, the old-king Akhenaten's religious revolution has been dismantled and some wish to wipeout any memory of that past. Tutankhamen had struggled with the burdens of state and the conflicts of faith, he now leaves his sister-bride to find a way through. To those around Ankhesenamen she is merely a puppet, needed to further their own selfish agenda. As she desperately tries to cling to her sanity, Ankhesenamen summons the faithful servant of her father Akhenaten to help her find the truth...
