Description

Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction intended for a mature audience. All characters are over 18.

This book combines the novels "Succubus Quest" and "Beholder Baseball and Other Bad Ideas"

These books tell the story of a beautiful mage named Megan, who becomes romantically entwined with a succubus named Kendra, a scholar and an ogre named Phil and the fun and hijinks that ensure. From overthrowing a kingdom to battles with a vampire named Kiki, there is romance and adventure aplenty. If you enjoyed "The Incarnations of Immortality" by Piers Anthony or "Good Intentions" by Elliot Kay you should enjoy these books. The next three books in the series are "The Succubus Apprentice" "Necromancer in Chief" and "Succubus Schemes"

Excerpt:

Edmund flopped on the floor of the newly christened training room. It had earned this appellation by the ogre casually destroying all the furniture cluttering up the room with a few swipes of his axe and then sweeping the debris aside with a few well-placed kicks.

He gasped and dry heaved and tried to remember how to force air into his body.
"See a good long run at high speed really helps the body learn about fighting."
Edmund recovered enough to speak.

"Really? Or did you just want me to make it to town and back at speed so you could have more beer?"

"Half of one, six dozen of the other" the ogre said breezily. "If you've recovered enough to crack wise, you've recovered enough to learn."

"I can't move" Edmund protested.

"I'm sorry to hear that" the ogre said sympathetically.

Edmund couldn't believe his ears. That was the first not terrible thing he'd heard the ogre say.
"... because I'm going to swing my axe right at that section of marble where you're flopping around like a dead fish and if you're still there you're probably gonna die."
The ogre lifted his axe so high it scraped the ceiling and he poised theatrically.

Another excerpt:

Megan thought about what the duchess had told her, that her assets were creativity while her own were in raw power.
She couldn't duel Alexandria in simple combat spells, not if she wanted to live.
But she couldn't think, the battlefield was no spell chamber or sanctum to craft new spells. Simple magic. But she was no match for Alexandria there. Her thoughts chased each other in useless circles, all paths and plans leading to her painful death.
Never to hold sweet Kendra in her arms again. Never to banter with Edmund til the first hint of dawn lit the sky. Unacceptable.
Her wards barely held against the duchess latest attack.
And then she had an idea.
The duchess had deducted her ties to demons, or one demoness in particular. But no inkling of the true nature of that bond. She hadn't allowed herself to think about what that meant, other than that she loved the beautiful sexy demoness.
She now allowed herself access to that part of her that changed part of her where the succubus aura overlapped with hers.
"What... " Alexandria stuttered as she tried to make sense of the changing, shifting aura of the young mage.
Now Megan outstretched her hand and plucked the lines of raw magic that surrounded her and a wind plucked the duchess, wards and all and threw her into the scrub. Thorns and nettles tore at the duchess' fine robes and she shrieked in outrage and pain.
"Mystic wards are no protection against thorns and underbrush are they?" Megan taunted.
"How..what did you do?"
Megan knew that her only advantage was surprise, the duchess had warded herself against a mage, not a succubus. The power from her mixed aura wasn't stronger, only different. She saw Alexandria's emotions as tangible thing
