A sweet short story for Christmas

Jem and Rex couldn't have been more different. Yet they were so drawn to one another that within four months they were married, much against the advice of their friends and family.

Now they are newlyweds, they are looking forward to spending their first Christmas together in their beautiful new London flat. They may be very different people, but they couldn't be more in love.

But now Jem has started to have some strange dreams which, in one way or another, start to draw attention to their very many differences, and tensions start to appear.

Will it turn out to be the beautiful Christmas that they were looking forward to - or will everybody be proved right, and they should never have married at all?
