Description

Embark on a perilous journey through a world teeming with action and intricate world-building, where the stage is set for a relentless adventure across the unforgiving landscapes of Retrac Daor.

In the wake of years marked by magical conflicts, the once-beautiful Culver now stands as a desolate, forsaken wasteland -- a grim testament to a forgotten past. Yet, within its scorched earth and tainted air, a promise of untold wealth beckons to the intrepid souls willing to traverse its war-torn expanse. Treasures and relics of staggering worth lie within reach, tempting men to stake their very lives in the pursuit of fortune.

Among them is Michael Carter, a figure unyielding in his determination to seize the riches that lay concealed beneath the Culver's scarred surface. Alongside a motley assembly of scrappers, he unearths a chamber veiled in mystery -- a discovery that triggers a global upheaval. For within this chamber lies a magical rock coveted by the sorcerous elite of the world, a mineral of unparalleled potency capable of commanding both the earth and heavens.

As the world's gaze fixates on the Culver's hidden wonders, Michael and his comrades are thrust into a breakneck race across the wasteland and an acid-ridden sea, compelled to safeguard the newfound power from those who would exploit it. The destiny of the Culver -- and conceivably the entire realm -- rests precariously upon their shoulders.

Dregs of the Culver Waste unfurls as an intoxicating blend of action and grimdark fantasy, woven masterfully by the creative mind of Chris R. Sendrowski. Within its pages, you'll find a symphony of vivid world-building and a gallery of captivating scoundrels and heroes. Venture deep into the world of Retrac Daor, a domain that pulses with intrigue and danger. Secure your copy of the comprehensive omnibus today and prepare to be swept away on an unforgettable, adrenaline-pumping odyssey.

Reviews

"I had a blast reading this novel, it flew by really fast and I couldn't put it down. Quite impressive for a first time novelist, up to par if not surpassing many other books I've read in the fantasy genre. Sendrowski didn't skip a beat to keep the story progressing and towards the end I was getting upset that there were so few pages left to read."

Amazon Review

"The book is riveting; if you're an avid reader like me you might read Dregs of the Culver Waste for a few hours without a pause. I only put it down because my kids were calling for me, and I picked it right back up after they went to bed! Again, I'm not normally a fantasy fan, but this book seemed more real and purposeful than some of the other fantasy books I've read. I would definitely encourage you to give this a try. It's so great to read something a little outside your normal "box", and you might even find that you like it!"

Amazon Review

"Fantasy becomes poetic beneath Christopher's pen as details come alive of the dark, horrible wasteland and conditions. The reader can feel the descriptive words, whether it's blisters upon the sun-baked skin and parched lips crying for water or the shivers from the cold within the freezing, black tunnels."

Amazon Review

"Wow. This was truly amazing. The author had managed to create a world totally new to the fantasy-sci-fi genre and it is not peopled with either zombies or werewolves or dragons. Imagine that. An original thought now days! This world and the people and creatures that inhabit it are new, fresh and scary."
