About Sleepwalking
Sleepwalking is a black comedy come psychological thriller about Jack's journey through the fine line between drugs and mental illness. During his journey, he discovers that his darkness is a very dangerous entity. This is a story about the edge of consciousness. The space between wakefulness and sleep; intoxication and sobriety; the angels and the demons; dark and light. This is my journey to this place. It is my horror. My twisted romance. My black comedy. My drug binge. This is my story that should never be told.

Reader Reviews

?????????? "Sleepwalking is an excellent "Bildungs Roman' (Novel of development). The protagonist takes us on a troubled journey through a London madness - both with and without drugs. Development creates a compelling pace, a need to read on to find out more about extraordinary characters and events. Very strong language is acceptable in the context. Mark is an exciting talent to watch - I really look forward to his next work."

?????????? "This twisted, funny, frightening story follows Jack through depression, substance abuse, music festivals, mental institutions, and the odd exorcism. Well-paced, with the pathos of a good mind unraveling set against a mix of self-deprecating and misanthropic humor, Sleepwalking is hard to put down. If you read The Singularity by Rodseth, you'll be glad to see his dry wit is intact - with even better storytelling - in Sleepwalking."

?????????? "Sleepwalking' is an extraordinary read, at once very moving with humorous interludes. The protagonist's journey from choking phases of darkness and finally into light, overwhelm the reader with horror, and then relief and hope. Sensitively written, with passages which concretise Jack's anguish, and his final conquering of sleepwalking through life will resonate with many readers - young and old." "An engaging, humorous and intriguing read with vivid imagery and a familiar subtext of life during a short window of our twenty-something years. BUY IT!!!"
