A new and exciting novel about Viking Waterford in Ireland 1100 years ago. The book describes the arrival to Waterford of Ragnall with his Vikings and their integration into the early Waterford community. It creates a fascinating insight into a Viking/Irish community in the year 914 AD. Some of the locations used in the book will be familiar to readers who know Waterford today and some will not since they have been obliterated by development. The story addresses the theory of how the Vikings became more Irish than the Irish themselves.

The book is largely based on the facts as are they are now known and a story has been cleverly woven around them by the author Maria Walsh.
