Description
Georgia, 1956: The summer was hot and young Rose Getty was ready to spend it with her best friend Missy Leary. There was cold tea waiting for them and the county fair was getting ready to set up. Everything was looking up for the duo until the mistress of Missy's husband drives into town and triggers a string of events that Rose is helpless to stop. Now, years later, Missy's grandson shows up on the doorstep of Rose's nursing home room. He's carrying a box of photos and a note addressed to Rose with that dreaded summer's year written on the front of the envelope. Rose must choose if she's going to tell the young man the truth of what really happened the summer his grandpa disappeared or if she's gong to keep her promise to Missy and never tell a single soul what happened to Johnathan Leary. She must also decided whether or not she wants to know the ending to the secret Missy had shared with her. The ending that she is more than sure is hidden in the envelope the young man brought her.
