Description

With the fiercely-contested US Presidential Election only days away, Matt Benson, a former Special Ops Expeditor, is hired by a mystery client, who for personal reasons needs to make sure that the Democratic Party Candidate, the incumbent Vice President, loses the election.
Ruthless and having been paid a massive fee, Benson organizes a deadly smear campaign of the Vice President and his family, using teams of dangerous people, all of whom he later terminates to leave no loose ends that could be traced back to him.
When The White House bring in their top security specialists, Jake Harrigan and his new wife and partner Sarah, their brief is to negate the smear campaign before the election and they eventually succeed, much to the annoyance of Benson. However, after tracking down Benson's various murder victims, they suddenly realize that Benson's ultimate plan, if all else fails, is to assassinate the Vice President if it looks like he will win on Election Night,
In a nail-biting race against the clock with the Nation and the World watching, Jake and Sarah lead a combined team to try and save a major embarrassment for the USA and bring the true culprits to justice,
