Description
This fascinating kinship that humans have with dogs made me think of all the dogs of the long forgotten past. We rarely honor animals unless it has accomplished great feats of strength. Horses like Seabiscuit, Man-o-War and Secretariat come to mind. But what of those canines that loved and protected or simply amused others long ago?
This collection of works was a labor of love for me. I loved reading and collecting all of these stories, and more than a few times I had a hard time holding back tears. I really hope you enjoy reading these tales as much as I loved discovering them.
