Description
Polymera is a champion swimmer struggling with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome a disease that has disqualified her from competitions & medals because of excessive Androgen levels.
Polly commits herself to a 70 mile swim in the Pacific Ocean to Midway Atoll Island to raise awareness about a major problem within our ocean... Plastics! On her journey Polly finds herself swimming through a terrible thunder storm, a giant garbage patch, and a strange yellow glowing liquid.
Dive in and discover how it all began...
Polymera's character represents not just plastic but specifically all of the balloons that are haphazardly released and find their way into our oceans/waterways. Sea animals are suffering because balloons are often mistaken for food or they get dangerously entangled. Conserving our ocean is pivotal for our planets survival and it is important that we all contribute.
