After an alien symbiote chooses Thursday as its host, it replaces his debilitating illness with wanderlust and spurs him onward to carry on with his travels. In a small Oregonian town, the aimlessly wandering Thursday finds a still-functioning radio and a broadcast that promises knowledge about the strange swarms hunting sources of electricity. A way to control the swarms is vital for technology to return, and Thursday may have found the first clue.
