In a near future of permanent conflict and diminishing resources, the reader follows the hunt for the mysterious Kadar ben Kacime. The chase takes the reader around the Mediterranean. With an improbable groupe of characters, the reader visits the African Film Festival in the legendary oasis city of Tamezite. The reader follows a running gun battle through the Afriland theme park as old scores are settled. Prisoners of the Djini at "the end of the world", the scene shifts to Hippo under the protection of Saint Augustine and a small miracle happens. A visit to Saint Irene's Island who's dragons's tail winds down through lost crevaces. Visits to Base 00101, Constantinople, and, of course, Jérusalem rounds out the trip. Back on the home front the reader witnesses the struggle for power in the mighty Troulette Alliance of Christians.
