On cold nights the men on the street swap stories about the urban legend. Wouldn't it be great if there was someone who just gave without taking. Someone here for us, without judging. But of course someone always ruins the story. Because of course, no one would ever act like that.

Then the first time he sees her, she's surrounded by sparrows, and by men come off the street to find her, and she was giving away out money. As if that was what they needed.

The next time he saw her, she was giving away exactly what he needed.
