Description
This Bani, the song of eternal bliss, is written by the third Guru, Amar Das in Raag Ramkali.
Whoever recites the Bani with dedication will attain peace and bliss. Anand Sahib is chanted at many religious ceremonies of the Sikhs, irrespective of the nature of the event: be it marriage or death. The complete Anand Sahib is composed in 40 Pauris (steps that guide the development of the soul toward spiritual fulfillment.)
Only the first five Pauris and the last, the fortieth Pauri, are part of Rehras Sahib and included in this book. This much is also called the 'Chotta Anand Sahib.'
