Description
What else is there to do when the world is over? Emily just wanted to go home. Now doomsday is a routine Tuesday afternoon even though the windows are boarded up, the homeowner's association has gone to hell, and Emily's closest friend is the undead nudist next door. Todd goes to work, Emily stays home, they take out the trash, and occasionally dig a grave or two. Almost nothing has changed. They still don't know the names of the people on their street. They can't remember the last day that passed without an argument, but there are more important things Emily can't remember, like their wedding or their lives before everyone else turned. As her memories return, Emily's fragile, cookie-cutter fantasy begins to shatter, and while the world may have already ended, there is still an apocalypse ahead, waiting patiently at a table for two.
