The underlying message is that life is a beautiful thing, even in the midst of turmoil, if you have Jesus in your heart. Paul Rhodes is a first time author who was raised in a Quaker family, graduated from Earlham College with a degree in English literature, and came to Christ five years later. After several years as an English teacher, God eased him into a thirty-two year career in long-term healthcare administration.
