Dr. Frank Robinson has lived a life that has encompassed a meandering trail of adventure, travel, ingenuity and at times risk. In this, his second book, he outlines and takes the reader on a journey of how a black man born and raised in Newark, New Jersey navigates through and ultimately accomplishes more than he or others ever dreamed possible. Often times throughout his life when "failure" seemed eminent and almost certain, he repeatedly put his nose to the grindstone, sought the council of others, and pulled himself up to forge ahead.
Dr. Robinson went on to graduate from Rutgers Medical School in NJ and practiced medicine over three decades in North Carolina as well as Georgia. He has held many positions in medicine both clinically as well as administratively. At the present time, he's semi-retired but continues to cover urgent care facilities as well as perform dermatologic surgery at his own small private office in Stockbridge, GA part-time.Though many have encouraged him to retire he has no plans to do that anytime soon. He and his wife Karen, a nurse, continue to enjoy and stay active in their respective health care fields as well as spend time with their grandchildren who reside in Alabama.
