Description
The Art of War by Sun Tzu is a rich and true treatise on planning, strategy and leadership.
One of the interesting things about chess that I learned from the Art of War is that you need to know the concept of certain movements. You do not need to study infinitely a certain openness and know all its variants. The most important thing is to know its concept what the purpose of that opening the strategic idea behind it knowing this you will always be ahead of your opponent.
If you want to improve your level of chess, you need to have a clear study plan. If you want to dramatically improve chess, you need to work on all elements of the game in a systematic way:
tactics
positional game
attack skills
end game technique
analysis of classic games
psychological preparation
and much more
