Description
Originally published in 1890, eminent Hebrew-Christian author, David Baron, presents Biblical prophecies which foretell the dispersion of the Jews among the Gentiles, and argues compellingly for their return to the land of Israel, again with prophecies. He does all this many decades before Israel became a nation. This book is likely one of the first ever written on the Jews returning to Israel. Then also discusses the "Israel and the Church" issue, and attacks Supersessionists and other theologians who "Spiritualize" scripture, thereby removing Israel from God's plan. He asserts the necessity to evangelize Jews, and was part of a missionary endeavor to the Jews. Though Baron believed that many individual Jews would accept Jesus as their Messiah, he did not believe that Messianic Jews would become large in number until the years immediately before the Return of Christ. This is the 5th edition, which has slight updates from the first edition. All text is here that was in the fifth edition, but the text has been slightly edited to update the spelling of some words and improved formatting. The original edition had an appendix listing many of the author's missionary associates, but the 5th edition does not.
