Description
Margo, a woman in her early 70s, suffers a stroke while at a remote cabin at the mountains. By the time her husband is able to take her to a hospital, the damage is irreparable. The right-sided paralysis and inability to speak will force her to live out her life in a care home. As a nurse who has worked in care homes, she knows what conditions are like and does not want to end her days there. However, she does not qualify for medically-assisted suicide. The novel follows her life as a nurse and relationships with family and friends. Can they help her? Can she help herself to die?
