Description
Will most people be tormented forever and ever after they die? Is there no hope whatsoever of salvation after death for them? Many, both in the modern and early church, have pondered this subject. Has God either decided to cause, or to allow, most of those He created to be condemned to endless pain and to remain in their sins, with no hope of reform? It has been said, "God either doesn't want to save all, or can't save all, or will save all." Many people, due to emotional or personal reasons, are unwilling to truly seek the truth in this matter. Others have examined this in a merely philosophical and pragmatic way. Either way, few have thoroughly researched this subject in a biblical and exegetical manner.
Some people simply deny that God would punish people endlessly, yet don't provide biblical answers for such reasoning. Others assert that God will punish people forever, but have never even studied crucial words that pertain to this subject, such as the Greek word "aion." They proclaim the Bible clearly teaches that people will be punished "forever," yet fail to note that the word "forever" is from the Greek word "aion." Basically, every Greek scholar agrees that the word "aion" does not always mean forever. And every Bible translation often translates it as "age" rather than "forever." Before one can form a conclusion as to whether or not salvation is possible after death, this word, and other subjects, need to be examined.
This book is unique in that it provides a wealth of research into these subjects, and has hyperlinks in the Kindle version so that the readers can see things from the original texts for themselves. This book approaches this subject in a biblical and exegetical manner, from a dispensational premillennial perspective. Examining God's inerrant word, the Bible, is the basis of authority and truth.
