Description

A woman is trapped within a London hospital and can't move beyond its grounds. She doesn't know exactly how long she's been there, and she can't ask anyone because nobody can see her or touch her, except people on the verge of death whose souls she helps move on into the afterlife. She spends her time following doctors and nurses around the wards, eavesdropping on their conversations and observing their lives. Her only reprieve from her isolation is the infrequent visits from Death himself, an entity who appears to be infatuated with her. Follow this ghostly figure as she tries to understand who and what she is while she tries to escape from her monotonous existence.

"Death's Captive really draws you in and captives your attention. I found myself so invested into the characters, their lives and what was waiting for them in the next chapter. Even when I thought I may know what might happen next, the twists and turns kept me guessing and the ending left me wanting more. I'm left feeling like I need to know what happens next. I love the unusual point of view and how it makes you look at life, death and even medical situations in a different light." -Sarah, 26
